Cisco Nexus Dashboard Insight

The Cisco Nexus Dashboard Insights for the data center is deployed in conjunction with Cisco’s state-of-the-art Software-Defined Data Center solution called, Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and also Cisco NX-OS with Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC).

It is a microservices-based service included on Cisco Nexus Dashboard. Nexus Dashboard installs in cluster nodes either on dedicated Cisco’s provided UCS Servers or on any other customer-based virtual compute infra.

The sizing and number of compute nodes required for Nexus Dashboard Insights depend on the number of sites, the sum of switches in each site, and also the workflows per second that the users require for the application to support.
